Our Commitment

At Fabyon Otomasyon San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti., we place the health and safety of our employees, visitors, suppliers and field teams working at customer sites ahead of our production and commercial targets. We believe occupational accidents and diseases are preventable, and we work towards a goal of zero accidents.

Our Principles

Legal compliance. We treat the requirements of the Turkish Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331 and all related regulations and standards as a minimum, and aim to go beyond them.

Risk assessment. Across all our activities — production, assembly, testing and field service — we systematically identify hazards, assess risks and prioritise eliminating them at source. For risks that cannot be eliminated, we place collective protection measures ahead of personal protective equipment.

Training and competence. Our employees receive occupational health and safety training at induction and at regular intervals. For work carrying particular risk — machine operation, electrical work, working at height and handling chemicals — we require documented competence.

Employee participation. Occupational health and safety is the responsibility of every employee, not only of management. We encourage hazard reporting and guarantee that no employee who reports a hazard will face adverse treatment. Every employee has the authority to stop work they consider unsafe.

Chemical safety. For all chemicals used in polyurethane production and laboratory processes — particularly isocyanate and polyol components — we keep safety data sheets accessible and apply the required ventilation, storage and personal protective equipment conditions.

Machine safety. On the machines we manufacture and modernise, we ensure that guarding, interlock and emergency stop systems conform to the relevant standards. In our work at customer sites we apply energy isolation and lockout/tagout procedures.

Emergency preparedness. We prepare emergency plans for fire, chemical spill, workplace accident and evacuation scenarios, and test them regularly through drills.

Contractor and visitor safety. We expect contractors working at our sites to meet the same safety standards as our own employees, and we brief visitors before they enter the facility.

Continuous improvement. We subject accident, near-miss and non-conformity reports to root cause analysis and feed the findings back into our processes. We monitor our performance against measurable targets and review this policy regularly.

Responsibility

Senior management is responsible for the implementation of this policy. Providing the necessary resources, setting objectives and monitoring performance are commitments of management. The policy is communicated to all employees and its adoption is ensured.
